Srinagar, Aug 05 (KNO): To commemorate the sixth anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and workers on Tuesday organized a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Srinagar, reaffirming their commitment to the ideals of unity and national integration.
Led by senior BJP leader and DDC member Srinagar, Er. Aijaz Hussain, the rally as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), started from Pantha Chowk and culminated at the Clock Tower in Lal Chowk here.
The event witnessed participation from party workers, youth and members of civil society from the Lal Chowk constituency.
Holding national flags and chanting patriotic slogans, participants walked in solidarity to celebrate what they termed as a “historic move that ushered in a new era of equality and constitutional unity in Jammu & Kashmir.”
“This rally is not just a celebration, but a pledge to stand for ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and the vision of One Nation, One Constitution, One Flag,” said Hussain while addressing the gathering at Lal Chowk.
